About Us
The Reuseum and Reuseum Educational Inc. work together in combining recycling, outreach, and education in an environment adorned with technology, both new and old. Reuseum Educational Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization specializing in one of a kind items from science, industry, and technology. Our goal is to bring these areas together for home hobbyists, artists, engineers, or just anyone who likes cool stuff they just can’t find anywhere else. The Reuseum refurbishes old electronics and devices for sale, with the money gained being used to fund classes, kits, and workshops at the Reuseum Educational. The classes then provide learning opportunities to enhance children’s knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and the mathematics (STEM).
The Reuseum also works towards creating an active community that cares about the environment through e-cycling; the reuse of parts from old and unused electronics. From dismantling older computers to making remote controlled robots from those older parts, we stress the importance of reusing, repurposing, and recycling and to hopefully establish a new line of thought when it comes to how we treat the “obsolete” objects in society.
As a not-for-profit organization we need the continuing support of our community in order to continue to provide educational opportunities for the community. If you haven’t been down to our shop or been to a class that we hold, please don’t hesitate to stop by. If you are interested in classes that we may be holding, if your curious as to what kind of workshops we provide, or if you’re simply curious for more information, the following link will bring you to the website for Reuseum Educational. If you wish to donate in order to support us and our mission, you can find more information on the Donate tab at the top of the screen. Thank you.
