How to build a Doodlebot!

Step 1: Remove all of the materials from the cup.

Step 2: Glue the first market onto the inside of the cup. Make sure the cap of the marker is NOT glues to the cup. Leave the marker out of the cup a bit.

Step 3: Glue the second marker onto the inside of the cup directly across from the first marker. Make sure the cap of the marker is NOT glued to the cub. Leave the marker out of the cup a bit.

Step 4: Glue the third marker to the onto the inside of the cup between the two other markers. Make sure the cap of the marker is NOT glued to the cup. Leave the marker out of the cup a bit.

Step 5: Glue the final marker onto the inside of the cup directly across from the third marker. Make sure the cap of marker is NOT glued to the cup. Leave the marker out of the cup a bit.

Step 6: Glue the wooden cube to the top of the cup. Make sure to use a lot of glue on the bottom edges of the cube to allow it a proper and tight connection between the cup and the cube.

Step 7: Glue the motor to the top of the cube making sure not to glue the nut to the motor.
Use a lot of glue, you don't want the motor to fly away!

Step 8: Glue the battery to the cup behind the motor and cube.

Step 9: This is where you can get creative and let your imagination go wild! Use googly eyes and cup lid to give your robot some personality.
Feel free to decorate it with whatever you desire, from cut up papers to ribbons, to makers of all kinds.

Step 10: Once you have decorate your robot in whatever way you want, get a big piece of paper, remove the caps from the markers, and connect the 9V battery connector from the motor to the battery.
Place your robot on the paper and watch it draw!
